Quilt Camp Complete

Today is our last day of "Quilt Camp".  We have moved back to the main house in Tulsa and are finishing up projects.  We just finished making soup and rolls for a dear friend who just got home from the hospital.  I am getting this post done before we "move" upstairs for our last afternoon of sewing together.

Design Wall Monday

This is the Baby Boy Quilt 3 top that I made from "scraps" while watching movies at Quilt Camp at the Lake Saturday night.  I just love it.  So far it has no owner so I may wait to quilt it.  These flannel shirtings are so soft and cuddly......just like a baby boy!!

Debby and I designed this table runner after we started with a kit and made the star blocks from Thangles only to discover they were to be 2 inches unfinished and we used 2 inch finished.  Never a mistake ......only room to create.  I think we did rather well.....don't you!  The kit was named "Winter Chill".....it was 65 degrees at the lake when we were done.  Oh well so much for the "Chill"!!!

The Immortal  Grinch

Our "last project" to tackle together was to transform a Grinch panel into a wallhanging.  I found just the right fabric in my stash and a couple hours later we had to all sewn together.  Due to lack of space in her luggage she will take it home to sandwich and quilt.

Linking back to Judy L at Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday, Skip to My Lou  and Stone Gable for all the projects going on over there!!

WHEW!!!!!  A busy week but oh so fun and successful!!!  Since this was the postponed Quilt Camp of 2012 we are already taking about July 2013 for this years Camp!!!  Can't wait!!

Happy Trails,

Mtn Mama
