Quilt top, batting, and backing ready to sandwich |
Today I am linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times for the Sunday Stash Report. I hope to keep this up through 2013 so that I can see if I make any progress on "using my stash". A dream I have is to actually use more than I buy!!! I don't know why....it just seems like the thing I should do!! As long as I am using it then I can buy it!! Justification is good for the soul....at least my soul!!

I am hoping to begin on the # 2 project on my "Get it Done List" for January. I have pulled the fabrics for my 2 baby boy quilts. I chose soft flannel greens, yellows, blues, and whites.

I am trying to decide on an easy pattern to get these quilts done. I have a small tumbler template that would work. Give me some of your opinions. I would love the" imput from my quilty blog friends" out there.
Off to start quilting the "Holy Toledo" quilt this afternoon.
Can't wait to hear what you suggest for my next project!!
Great start to your destashing! Your two new projects will be cute and cuddly. Love your "Holy Toledo" quilt. What a great finish that will be for 2013.
ReplyDeleteLove your Holy Toledo quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the scrappiness of your Holy Toledo quilt. I am sure which ever pattern you decide to use to make your baby quilts they will be much loved.
ReplyDeleteFlannel seams tend to be a little thicker so less seams might be better. I am sure your choice will be great, though. I love the Holy Toledo quilt.
